Pastor Ken Martinez planted the Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church of Longmont, CO on Feb. 12, 1995 as a mission work of Bible Baptist Church of Stillwater, OK. Saved and baptized in 1975, he answered the call to preach in 1988 and graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield Missouri in May, 1994. By the grace of God, he continues to serve as the church's first and only pastor.
The preacher and his wife, Sheri were married in 1978 and have 3 sons, Steve, Jacob, and Mark. Steve and his three children live in Longmont. Jacob graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010, and lives in Denver, CO. Mark graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2012. In June 2021, he was sent out of Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist church to plant the Boulder Valley Baptist Church in Boulder, CO. He and his wife Hannah have one daughter.
