We care about children at Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist church and about laying biblical foundations in young lives. Raising a godly seed in a secular culture is challenging and we want to help parents succeed. Our children’s ministries include nurseries for all services and many of the activities of the church, a graded Sunday school, children’s church, and Kids4Truth club.
Nursery
Our nursery ministry provides a safe, clean, and healthy environment for infants through two years of age. We have qualified staff that are trained in the policies and procedures of the children's ministry.
Sunday School
Our children’s Sunday school is divided by age groups and includes pre-primary classes for 3 years through Kindergarten, primary classes for children in 1st grade through 3rd grade, and juniors class for 4th grade through 6th grade. Each Sunday dedicated caring teachers instill Biblical truth through stories and songs, games and crafts, Bible verse memorization, and a Bible lesson.
Children's Church
The Children's church is for youngsters 3 years old through the 6th grade. We have all of our children assemble with their parents and adults in the sanctuary for singing and special music. At the conclusion of the song service the children are dismissed to the children's church program where they will hear an age appropriate lesson from the Bible that will point them to faith in Jesus Christ.
Kids4Truth
On Wed. night, children ages 4 through the 6th grade participate in our Kid's4Truth club. It is a great program of Bible instruction through teaching, song, Bible verse memorization, and fun activities. The purpose for having Kids4Truth club is to a lay a solid doctrinal foundation for a lifelong Biblical world view. The kids love the club because it's so much fun.
Outreach
In addition to our regular weekly children's ministry we have a vacation Bible school each year in June. In late Oct., we host a Fall Harvest Party for the children in our community as an alternative to Halloween.
