Mark Martinez was born into a Christian family from Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK, under Pastor Sam Davison. In 1995, the Lord led his father, Pastor Ken Martinez to plant the Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church of Longmont, CO. Bro. Mark’s upbringing allowed him the privilege of seeing the work of church planting, first hand.

At age 7, Bro. Mark accepted Christ as his personal Savior while attending Silver State Baptist Youth Camp, under the preaching of Bro. Dave McCracken.

Throughout his teen years, he believed the Lord wanted him to be involved in youth ministry,  and, in 2008, Bro. Mark followed the will of the Lord in attending Heartland Baptist Bible College. During his first year of Bible college, the Lord began to work in Bro. Mark’s heart about planting a church. Desiring to ensure this calling was from the Lord, he sought the Lord’s will for 6 months, and in July of 2009, Bro. Mark surrendered to the call of church planting.

While attending Southwest Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, Bro. Mark faithfully served in the youth ministry both in teen church, and as a 9th grade boys Sunday School Class. Upon graduation from Heartland in 2012, Bro. Mark returned home to become the Youth Pastor of Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church. He married his wife, Hannah Wallace, on May 31, 2013. On October 9, 2015, they welcomed their first child, Jenna. Bro. Mark and Miss Hannah love teenagers, and have committed their lives to helping teens grow to be dedicated, godly servants of Jesus Christ, both now, and into their adult lives.
